Andrew Young


Andrew has a background in production agriculture, fund management, international business consulting, and business development facilitation. He currently works with selected regionally based agribusinesses focusing on IP in their business growth, innovation and export development.


Allan Reid


Alan has an extensive and varied background within the agricultural production sector in nutrition for livestock, pasture production, conservation, cropping systems, horticulture and grain marketing.


Wendy Ross


Wendy has over 25 years of dairy farming experience at Bald Hills. Her passion has seen 4 family members now being associated with the farm business. Wendy also runs a bookkeeping and business management service.


Lawrence Richmond

Past Chair

Lawrence has extensive agricultural knowledge and business management skills. Lawrence currently has agricultural interests in New South Wales, the Ukraine and South America.

Craig has extensive experience as a farmer and international aid worker specialising in community development and rural livelihoods.  Craig works from his family property ‘Glenlee Farm’ which is located south of Ararat.

Annabel Davies

Annabel Davies

Board Member

Annabel is a 4th generation beef farmer who is passionate about the agriculture industry. She is a member of the VFF Young Agribusiness Professionals  and is currently undertaking a Masters of Business Administration. Annabel works as an Agribusiness Relationship Manager with NAB in Ballarat.


Quinton Wilkinson

Board Member

Quinton is a passionate Food Technology expert in NPD and Food Processing skills with over 52 years in the food industry covering the Meat, Baking and Vegetable categories. He has recently retired after 25 years as R&D Manager, and 5 years as Innovations Support Manager for McCain Foods Australia and NZ

Chris Sharke

Board Member

Farming in a low rainfall and challenging environment Chris has extensive knowledge in soil moisture management techniques and employs technologies such as satellite imagery and yield mapping to improve overall efficiencies. The farm business, located on the Werribee Plains has interests in grain production, a free range piggery, sheep and a bulk grain storage facility
